I won this 2nd place trophy at a hare scramble near Oakley, Illinois
(about 10 miles east of Decatur) in April 1996. The day was wet and
dreary and the course was full of deep mud. I felt good just surviving
for two hours. Even though there were only 4 guys in the Big B class
that day, you can't win if you don't play.
